FAQs

This is a frequently asked question?

Are muzzles uncomfortable? Are muzzles mean? Are muzzles a punishment? the answer is no no and no. Muzzles are not uncomfortable as long as the muzzle is properly fitted for the dog. Muzzles are not mean or a punishment. They are created for your pets safety and others. If your dog were to bite someone who didn’t provoke or bother the dog. That’s a lawsuit against you and now your dog has a record. In extreme cases someone might even press to get your dog put down due to its attacks. To avoid all of the legal drama a muzzle is the best option.

This is a frequently asked question?

I want my dog to stop going after everyone but I don’t want him/her to not protect me when I need. That’s the reason for leash training and bite work. Leash training will desensitize the dog to other people and animals leading your dog being less distracted and less likely to run off. Bite work introduces biting on command. You don’t want your dog biting everyone but like you said you still want them to protect you. The answers are all right here. Bite work, muzzle, leash training.

This is a frequently asked question?

Why is my dog going after my other dogs even though they grew up together? The answer could be multiple things. Your dog is sick and wanting to be alone due to pain. Your dog senses the other dog getting old or sick. Dogs originated from wolves. What are wolves? Pack animals! In the wild when the alpha gets sick the younger wolves will start to challenge the alpha. In other words your dog could be getting ready to take over the alpha roll and telling you to get ready to say goodbye to your other beloved elderly dog.
